MAC Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate, team-oriented Associate Veterinarian (DVM) to join our thriving small animal veterinary practice in Calera, Alabama. Schedule

Walk-In Based Practice

Monday - Friday
  • 7:30 AM - 11:30 AM
  • 2:00 PM - 6:30 PM

Saturday
  • 7:30 AM - 10:30 AM

What You'll Do

As an Associate Veterinarian, you will:
  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations
  • Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions in companion animals
  • Develop preventive care and wellness plans
  • Perform routine and advanced surgical procedures
  • Utilize diagnostic imaging and laboratory resources
  • Educate pet owners on treatment plans and preventive healthcare
  • Collaborate closely with veterinary technicians and support staff
  • Build long-term relationships with clients and patients

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent)
  • Licensed or eligible for veterinary licensure in Alabama

Our salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The Company offers competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision benefits, vacation, sick leave, 401(k), and more depending on location. You will be provided more detailed information about compensation and benefits for your specific location.
